For 11+ day walking holidays we recommend staying in three centres; Central Troodos, and both East and West Troodos.

East and West Troodos are less well known for holiday stays, and there are less accommodation options in suitable locations. We therefore always arrange accommodation for our clients in these areas at Vavatsinia in the East, and Lemona in West.

Should you wish us to, we can arrange a linear holiday trek on the E4 long distance route, just discuss it with us.

THE COST OF WALKING

Our charges are simple and easy to understand with no hidden extras.

We provide a full days walk, planned to suit your personal walking style and interests, lasting around 5 hours, including all transportation, for 30 GBP per person per day (including local transport), regardless of the number of days walking and the walking location.

The total cost is payable in the UK, 30 days before departure.

There is a single supplement if only one person is walking of 10 GBP per day.

Trimiklini. In the southern foothills of the Central Troodos at around 700 metres altitude.

“Heather's” A comfortable modern villa sleeping up to 4 guests in double rooms, with king size beds on suite bathrooms, balconies with magnificent views of Mount Olympus, and a private swimming pool.

Of course what really completes the picture is Heather, a wonderful hostess, and a great cook! Heather's costs 30 EUR per person per night Bed and Breakfast.

A delicious and varied three course evening meal can be booked for an additional 15 EUR per person, an option that most of our clients take for at least a part of their stay!

There is a single supplement of 10 EUR per night.

Vavatsinia. On a high ridge facing south in the Eastern Troodos at around 1000 metres altitude.

“Maria's” A delightful Taverna and Guest House with spacious apartment accommodation for six people in quiet double bedded rooms, centrally heated in winter with balconies and great views to the Mediterranean, located just outside the ancient cobbled village of Vavatsinia.

Maria's costs 30 EUR per person per night Bed and Breakfast; bet you can't finish breakfast!.

The Taverna is famous throughout Cyprus for its traditional food and hospitality. Maria's menu offers everything that is good in Mediterranean cooking, with a full Cyprus meze for only 17 EUR per person.

There is a single supplement of 10 EUR per night.

Lemona. A tiny village in the deep valley of the Ezousas River in the Western Troodos, amongst vines and fruit and olive orchards at 300 Metres altitude.

“David's”. A beautifully old courtyard house in a sleepy village, surrounded by vines and orchards, lovingly restored stone by stone by your host David.

His guest accommodation offers a spacious double bedded room, with en-suite bathroom, opening onto a paved and vine covered courtyard.

The local area offers some excellent low level walking and is also well placed to reach all parts of the Western Troodos(Pafos Forest) area.

David's costs 30 EUR per person per night Bed and Breakfast.

David will cook a wholesome meal, with real local ingredients, sitting by a big log fire in winter, for 15 EUR per person, or he'll take you to his local taverna if you wish.
